INDICATIONS AND USAGE: ABSORICA® (isotretinoin) is a medicine taken by mouth to treat the most severe form of acne (nodular acne) that cannot be cleared up by any other acne treatments, including antibiotics. ABSORICA can cause serious side effects, birth defects and mental health problems. Females who are pregnant or who plan to become pregnant must not take ABSORICA. The ABSORICA Co-Pay Card Program offers ABSORICA patients a discount coupon card to help cover the cost of their treatment. Certain eligibility requirements and restrictions apply.
* Patients are not eligible if prescriptions are paid in part or full by any state or federally funded programs including but not limited to Medicare or Medicaid, Medigap, VA, DOD, or TriCare and where prohibited by law.
Available for uninsured or underinsured patients who need assistance paying for their medication.
If you qualify, you may be able to receive your medication at no cost through the ABSORICA Patient Assistance Program (PAP).
To be eligible for the PAP, you must be a U.S. resident (including Puerto Rico) and must not have existing drug coverage for ABSORICA under any prescription drug benefit, including private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, or other government insurance programs or be in the 90-Day Waiting Period for Medicare coverage. Your income must also be at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) and you must be registered with the iPLEDGE Program by your prescriber.
